Leinster and Ireland back-row Jack Conan is reportedly after attracting the interest of both the Exeter Chiefs and the Leicester Tigers.
The Premiership sides are believed to be trying to take advantage of Conan’s current situation with both club and country according to The Telegraph.
Jamie Heaslip recently signed a new deal with the eastern province, who also have the likes of Rhys Ruddock, Sean O’Brien, Josh van der Flier, Dan Leavy, Dominic Ryan and Jordi Murphy on their back-row books, leaving Conan’s future uncertain.
The powerful back-row forward has been hugely impressive this season when given a chance, and is perhaps too good to be playing second-fiddle at Leinster. Ireland’s embarrassment of riches in the back-row means he’s not going to have much luck in the national side either.
No one would begrudge Conan of a move and in the interest of his career- it’s probably the right option.
