Wanted man.
The proposed R360 league has caused quite a stir across rugby over the last few months.
Led by former England international Mike Tindall, the breakaway league plans to launch in October 2026 and is said to be actively trying to recruit talent.
Ireland and the majority of the leading unions have made it clear that players will be ineligible for international duty should they move to R360, but that’s not going to stop everyone, especially if a lucrative offer comes in.
One Ireland star who is reportedly considering a move to the new league is Leinster scrum-half Jamison Gibson-Park.
The 33-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, and RugbyPass are reporting that he may be tempted to make the move, with Premiership and Top 14 clubs also said to be interested in his services.
Any move would come as a major blow to Andy Farrell’s Rugby World Cup preparations, with Gibson-Park the preferred man in the nine jersey for several seasons, with many considering him to be one of the very best in the game right now.
