The 2018/19 Guinness PRO14 season officially gets underway this weekend with every single game set to be broadcast live for the very first time.

Some of the games will be behind a paid subscription service in the UK and Ireland, but it’s a small price to pay for an absolute feast of rugby action throughout the season.

eir Sport alongside TG4 will be showing all the games in Ireland this year, and have recruited the likes of Tommy Bowe, Martyn Williams and Luke Fitzgerald for punditry duties.

Ahead of the season kick-off some of the panel, including Williams and Fitzgerald, sat down for a preview show with the former internationals giving some interesting predictions.

One of the questions asked was who do they fancy to win the competition outright. Martyn Williams opted for current holders Leinster, while Fitzgerald, a former Leinster player himself – went for arch-rivals Munster.

Leinster fans won’t be too happy with that answer!
