Leicester Tigers could be set to offload both Manu Tuilagi & Matt Toomua.
Tuilagi recently suffered another injury setback that has ruled him out for the rest of the season, with the Tigers potentially looking to cut their losses and offload the England star, who is one of the highest paid players in World Rugby.
Australian centre Toomua joined the Tigers at the start of the season, but picked up a serious knee injury in October. He is not expected back until April at the earliest.
The Premiership giants are said to be looking to offload the duo to free up some of their wage cap in order to bring in England duo George Ford and Ben Te’o.
Ford is looking to leave Bath at the end of the season, with Sale admitting they are now out of the running to sign the England playmaker. A return to Leicester seems to be a done deal at this stage, while Six Nations star Te’o has made it know he is not happy with Worcester and will look to move on in the summer.
