Overtaken.
The latest World Rugby Rankings have been released, and Ireland have been overtaken by one of their oldest rivals following the weekend’s results.
The men in green enjoyed a record win over Australia on Saturday night, but that hasn’t stopped them from dropping down to fourth in the world.
England’s victory over the All Blacks means they leapfrog Ireland into third, having scored more points for beating a team ranked higher.
New Zealand remain in second place, behind World Champions, South Africa, who look set to finish the year as the number one-ranked team in the world.
