There’s hope for Munster yet.
Leinster outhalf Johnny Sexton is set to miss tomorrow’s Guinness PRO14 semi-final clash with provincial rivals Munster at the RDS Arena in Dublin.
Sexton injured his groin during last weekend’s Champions Cup final win over Racing 92 and has been unable to recover. Ross Byrne is poised to replace the Ireland international, with Joey Carbery coming in at fullback.
James Lowe is also set to return to the starting line-up, having missed out on the matchday squad for last week’s final, while Isa Nacewa looks set to move to first centre in place of the injured Robbie Henshaw.
Rhys Ruddock has shaken off a hamstring problem to take his place in the back-row. Dan Leavy looks set to miss out, although it’s unclear if he is injured or simply in need of a rest after a gruelling schedule in 2018.
Leinster (possible): J Carbery; J Larmour, G Ringrose, I Nacewa, J Lowe; R Byrne, L McGrath; J McGrath, S Cronin, T Furlong; D Toner, J Ryan; R Ruddock, J Murphy, J Conan.
