Ah feck.
Keith Earls looks set to miss Munster’s crucial Champions Cup quarter final clash with Toulon, The Irish Independent reports. The winger injured his knee in Ireland’s Grand Slam win over England on Saturday, and was forced off in the second-half.
Earls, who was yesterday nominated for Six Nations Player of the Championship, struggled badly with his leg in the celebrations at Twickenham, and had some heavy strapping on it.
Simon Zebo also picked up a knock in Munster’s game with Edinburgh Friday, leaving head coach Johann van Grann potentially very light in his back-three for the huge European clash.
Andrew Conway has also been out injured since the beginning of the Six Nations. The South Africa will be hoping at least one of them can come through for the Toulon game.
