What will his decision be?
Joey Carbery has been offered a chance to move to Munster as early as next season according to a report in the Limerick Leader this afternoon – but only if he ‘wants’ to.
The IRFU are keen to move Carbery to another province ahead of next year’s Rugby World Cup in search of more game time at ten, with a move up north yo Ulster originally proposed to the 22-year old.
But it appears he is not interested in a move to the northern province, despite the IRFU’s efforts, with Munster now swooping in. The offer still remains however, so Carbery can pretty much choose between Munster and Ulster if he decides to leave.
The report also states that if Carbery moves to Munster – it must be on a permanent deal. And that Munster must offload one of their current out-halves, be it on a loan or permanent deal.
Over to you Joey…
