England prop Joe Marler has come under fire for a moment of absolute stupidity during Harlequins’ Champions Cup semi-final defeat to Toulouse yesterday.

With just five minutes on the clock, and the English side trailing, Marler decided to take his frustrations out on Thomas Ramos with a needless and petulant slap to the back of the head.

Marler had come on as a replacement just 25 minutes earlier, with his moment of madness resulting in a penalty, ending any hope of Quins’ chances of overturning the scoreboard.

The loosehead has since come out and admitted that he “fucked it” with a post on X. What do you think of his actions?
