Munster Rugby are keen to sign Argentina flanker Pablo Matera when his six-month contract with the Crusaders expires, according to a report by The Rugby Paper
Maters has signed on with the Crusaders for the 2022 season in a surprise move that was announced on Friday afternoon with the former Pumas captain said to be keen to finally win a Super Rugby title.
The 27-year-old former Jaguares forward signed for Stade Francais following the disbanding of Super Rugby but his playing time with the French side was limited.
And it appears Munster, as well as Premiership clubs London Irish and Harlequins, are keen to offer him a route back to Europe.
Pablo Matera could stay with the Crusaders beyond the six-month contract he signed to play Super Rugby in 2022
