Paul O’Connell and Ronan O’Gara and both set for punditry duties during the Six Nations this year, but there’s one big problem.
The former Ireland and Lions lock will be across the pond as part of the BBC panel, while O’Gara will be joining Brent Pope and the lads on RTE, for their final ever Six Nations, with TV3 set to take over next year.
It leaves Ireland fans torn as to what channel they will watch the Six Nations on, with both players holding a special place in the hearts of Irish fans, and both being damn good pundits to boot.
To make matters even worse it’s now been revealed that a third Irish legend will also be doing some punditry work, for yet another channel, with former captain Brian O’Driscoll revealed as part of the ITV panel today. O’Driscoll will be joined by a stellar line-up with the likes of Lawrence Dallaglio and Johnny Wilkinson also set to feature.
How are Irish fans going to decide which channel to watch? It’s a tough one!
