Round four.
Joe Schmidt and his coaching team have named a 37-man Ireland squad ahead of this weekend’s Six Nations clash with France in Dublin.
As expected, hooker Sean Cronin has been dropped from the squad with Ulster’s Rob Herring earning a call-up in his place. CJ Stander returns after his facial injury, while there’s also room for Rhys Ruddock, Jack Conan and Tadhg Beirne.
In the backs Joey Carbery has been named despite question marks over his fitness, while there’s no place for Robbie Henshaw as he continues to rehab an injury of his own.
