Back in action.
Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt looks set to welcome Garry Ringrose and CJ Stander straight back into his starting XV for this weekend’s clash with France after the pair missed the last two rounds through injury.
Stander has recovered fully from a facial injury sustained against England, while Ringrose is back in action after a hamstring problem kept him out of the wins over Scotland and Italy.
Robbie Henshaw is once again out this weekend, meaning Ringrose will likely partner Bundee Aki in the centre, with Chris Farrell losing out. The backline looks set to be unchanged elsewhere.
In the pack Iain Henderson is expected to come in and partner James Ryan in the engine room, while there’s also an expected return for captain Rory Best, front-row partner Cian Healy and Josh van der Flier at openside.
