Ireland could be left with a long list of injuries ahead of this weekend’s huge second Test with South Africa with two players certain to be out.
Craig Casey suffered a concussion in the 63rd minute and was stretchered off after a lengthy stoppage to the game. It’s highly unlikely he will be available this weekend.
Hooker Dan Sheehan will also be out after he suffered a suspected ACL tear that could keep him out for 6-9 months. His knee was heavily strapped after he picked up the injury just 27 minutes in before being replaced at half-time.
Robbie Henshaw also picked up a head injury making him a doubt. The same goes for debutant Jamie Osborne who suffered a groin injury.
