Battered and bruised.
Ireland have issued an injury update following Saturday’s bruising Test match with world champions New Zealand at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Peter O’Mahony, who was forced off after 60+ minutes following an incredible man-of-the-match performance, picked up a dead leg in the 16-9 win and will have his training load “managed accordingly” this week.
Dan Leavy, who was a late withdrawal from the squad on Friday, has a neck train and has returned to Leinster who will manage his recovery.
Sean Cronin, Jack McGrath, Rob Kearney, James Ryan, Jordan Larmour, Dan Leavy and Kieran Marmion meanwhile, have re-joined their provinces ahead of this weekend’s final Test match with the USA Eagles.
