Reinforcements.
Ireland international Tadhg Beirne has been drafted in as a late replacement for Munster this evening as they get set to take on Ospreys at the Liberty Stadium in the Guinness PRO14.
South African lock Jean Kleyn has been forced to pull out of the squad with illness and Beirne will start in his stead, coming straight into the starting team as a direct replacement.
Beirne has been out injured for the last number of weeks but made his return to full training with Ireland this week and was in line for selection against Italy.
But Schmidt instead went with Ultan Dillane and Quinn Roux as his starting partnership with Iain Henderson providing cover from the bench, leaving Beirne free to get some much needed minutes this evening.
