Irish fans did not like Joe Schmidt’s selection ahead of the Italy game and we reckon they’re not going to like his selection for the Scotland game either.
Despite a thumping win many believe the performance did not paper over the cracks in the current Irish set-up. Joe Schmidt is beginning to become a little too familiar with his selections, with it seemingly harder to play your way out of the Irish team these days than play your way in.
Schmidt is set to leave out Stuart McCloskey again this weekend and go with a midfield duo of Henshaw and Payne again with Simon Zebo continuing at fullback. Once again there’s no room for Paddy Jackson and Fergus McFadden somehow finds himself on the bench.
We got it right last week LADS, unfortunately we wouldn’t bet against us this week either.
