History makers.
This year’s Six Nations Championship was very special for Ireland. They became champions for the third time in five years, and the fourth time overall. They also claimed the title with a round to spare for the first time in their history.
On Saturday they won just their third Grand Slam in history, with winger Jacob Stockdale breaking a championship try-scoring record in the process thanks to his score just before half-time.
They also broken their winning record for a second consecutive week. Their win over Eddie Jones’ side was their 12th in-a-row . It also means they have tied their record for consecutive games without defeat (12) too.
An incredible campaign for Irish rugby. Next stop Australia. Will we see some more records broken down under this summer?
