Ireland and Lions centre Robbie Henshaw is fit and ready to play against Munster this weekend at the Aviva Stadium, after successfully recovering from a torn pectoral muscle.
The talented midfielder has been out of action for almost 12 weeks after having surgery on the injury picked up while playing for the British & Irish Lions against the Hurricanes over the summer.
His recovery couldn’t have come at a better time, with Leo Cullen suffering with an injury crisis in midfield at the moment. Garry Ringrose is on the long-term casualty list, while captain Isa Nacewa is set to miss the Munster game, and their Champions Cup opener with Montpellier.
Cullen names his team for the first inter-pro of the season at 12pm on Friday.
