What a day of rugby.
Munster have finished top of the PRO12 as they regular season came to a close this afternoon. Their 50-14 demolition of Connacht in Thomond Park was enough to secure them a semi-final with fourth placed Ospreys.
Rassie Erasmus’s men ran in seven tries against a hapless Connacht side, who will face Northampton in their Champions Cup play-off semi after today’s result.
Leinster’s 17-3 loss to Ulster coupled with Scarlets’ win over the Ospreys mean they will meet in the other semi-final.
Friday, May 19: LEINSTER (2) vs. SCARLETS (3) at The RDS, Dublin
Saturday, May 20: MUNSTER (1) vs. OSPREYS (4) at Thomond Park, Limerick
