Holy shi*t.
Andrew Porter has had one hell of a season all things considered. Having made the incredibly difficult switch from loosehead to tighthead, the 22-year-old got his first real taste of senior action this year, and boy did he take it.
The youngster burst on the provincial since while Tadhg Furlong was on international duty back in November, with his performances impressive Joe Schmidt so much, he brought him into his Six Nations squad.

It was there he made a serious impression, replacing Tadhg Furlong early on against Italy and being named man of the match in an incredible display. He’s now firmly number two for club and country, and has a Six Nations, Champions Cup and PRO14 medal in his pocket.
It probably helps that he’s an absolute monster of a man in the gym. Check this picture out of him squatting at Ireland’s gym session today. Absolutely insane. How much does he have on there?
