France will be hoping to record their first victory over Ireland in four years next week but it just got a whole lot harder.
Louis Picamoles went off injured today in their narrow victory over Italy for the young Yacouba Camara. French head coach Guy Noves has already confirmed that Picamoles will miss next week’s game against Ireland, with what looks like a tear in his right thigh.
Ireland will be hoping Sean O’Brien returns next week and should at least have the upper-hand over France in the backrow department in Picamoles’ absence. There’s only the small matter of Wales tomorrow to deal with first!
