Trevor Brennan’s son Daniel has been named in France’s provisional squad for the this year’s World Rugby U20 Championship in Georgia.
Daniel, who in June last year signed a two-year contract with Toulouse, was already a France international at U17 and U18 levels and was named in their squad for this year’s U20 Six Nations tournament.
His father Trevor carved out a highly successful career for himself with Toulouse following a move from Leinster back in 2002. The versatile forward, who could play lock or in the back-row, played in three consecutive Heineken Cup finals, winning two.
France take on Argentina, South Africa and hosts Georgia in Pool C of the tournament which begins on 31 May.
