Munster are reportedly lining up former Bath and Toulon coach Mike Ford to replace Rassie Erasmus should he leave.
The South African is reportedly in talks to return home at the end of the season to take up a role with the SARU, with Ford recently given his marching orders by erratic Toulon president Mourad Boudjellal.
Ford has previously held a role with the IRFU from January 2002 until November 2005 as defence coach, before moving on to take a role with Saracens.
He also toured with the British & Irish Lions in 2005 as their defence coach in New Zealand.
Would Ford be a good replacement should Erasmus decide to leave?
