Wanted man.
England could be set to lose another one of their top international stars having already lost the services of the likes of Henry Arundell, Jack Willis, as well as captain Owen Farrell who has taken a break from the Test arena.
Saracens number eight Billy Vunipola is reportedly in talks over a big-money move to Japan with Suntory Sungoliath, according to the Daily Mail.
The 31-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, and has been offered a contract by Saracens, but a move to Japan may prove to be too tempting as he enters the twilight years of his career.
A number of big names from South Africa and New Zealand have recently made the switch to Japan following the Rugby World Cup and Vunipola may very well be tempted, especially if he is not in Steve Bortwick’s plans when he names his Six Nations squad later this month.
