Back in action.
Leinster have received a huge fitness boost with news that Ireland international Dan Leavy is back in full training and could be available for this weekend’s PRO14 clash with Edinburgh.
Leavy picked up a rib injury in Ireland’s second Test against Australia in June before undergoing a minor shoulder procedure during the summer. But is now back fighting fit and raring to go.
In a further boost, Leinster coach Felipe Contepomi has revealed Sean O’Brien isn’t far behind him. The Lions star “will be integrated back into the rugby programme this week” but remains unavailable ahead of Saturday’s game.
He will however, likely be available for Leinster’s Champions Cup opener with Wasps, and could make his return against Connacht on September 29th – or against Munster the week after.
