Bristol Bears continued their excellent recent run of form yesterday with a last-gasp 26-24 win over Northampton Saints in the Gallagher Premiership.
Last year’s Championship winners are now just four points off a top six finish ahead of next week’s visit of relegation threatened Worcester Warriors, and could very well end up in the Champions Cup next season.
Pat Lam’s men were trailing right up until the death before a bizarre series of infringements saw Northampton down to 11 men after picking up four yellow cards.
But in the end Ireland international Ian Madigan proved to be the difference, setting up Piers O’Conor for a try in the corner to level the game before stepping up with an incredible conversion to seal all five points. Check it out below. As cool as you like.
