“My heart bleeds for him!”
Italy boss Conor O’Shea has mocked the fact that Eddie Jones’ has an injury list of up to twenty players ahead of the Six Nations clash next month.
Jones is set to be without a huge number of players for the curtain raiser, including the likes of Billy Vunipola, Henry Slade, Jack Nowell, Nathan Hughes and Elliot Daly.
O’Shea however, says his “heart bleeds for him” and has even done Eddie’s job for him by naming the team he will likely put out against his side.
“You’ve got Mako (Vunipola), Hartley and Cole.” O’Shea told Sky Sports
“Probably he’ll go Launchbury, Lawes with Itoje on the flank, but you could go with Lawes on the flank.”
“Robbo (Chris Robshaw) at seven, then Simmonds at eight, maybe Zach Mercer.”
“Youngs or Care, take your pick. Ford, Farrell, Joseph, Watson, May, Brown, done.”
What do you think? Sound about right?
