Connacht’s injury woes continue.
Pat Lam’s side are missing a number of key players, including Quinn Roux, Nathan White, Jake Heenan, Sean O’Brien, Eoghan Masterson, John Cooney and Craig Ronaldson ahead of their season opener, at home to Glasgow Warriors on Saturday (17.15).
Versatile back, Darragh Leader has now become the latest addition to the list with after undergoing surgery on his hand that will rule him out until February. The injury will add further misery to the ranks as they open up the defence of their title this season.
Lam however is no stranger to shuffling his pack through injury as he did many times last season and will no doubt still be confident they can open with a win this weekend.
