Clermont’s Wesley Fofana and Scott Spedding have both been recalled to the France squad ahead of facing Scotland.
Fofana has recovered from a rib injury to make the 31-man group preparing to head to Murrayfield next Sunday. Spedding also returns having shaken off a knock and both will now be in contention for the Round 4 clash.
Jean-Marc Doussain is the only player to drop out as France look to bounce back following last Friday’s loss to Wales in Cardiff. Spedding faces a battle to wrestle the full-back spot away from Maxime Médard after his positive displays so far, while Fofana could be used either in the midfield or out on the wing.
