Prolific.
England winger Chris Ashton may not be the most loveable of characters, but there’s absolutely no doubting his rugby ability. The former Saracens star has built up a bit of a reputation over the years, but he’s a hell of a rugby player.
His try-scoring record in the Premiership was pretty damn impressive, bagging close to 140 tries in a ten-year stint that saw him line out for Northampton and Saracens.

Now in just his first season in the Top 14, he’s smashed the record for tries scored in a single season, after he bagged his 22nd in Toulon’s win over Montpellier this afternoon.
And he’s still got two regular season games to go, along with the play-0ff’s. Say what you want about the man, but by god he knows how to finish.
