The Champions Cup pool stages are now over and we know who our quarter finalists are.
European club rugby’s premier competition will now take a break until April while we deal with the small matter of the 2017 RBS Six Nations.
Two Irish province’s in the form of Munster and Leinster both secured home quarter finals this past weekend, while Pat Lam’s Connacht agonisingly missed out to Toulouse.
A number of players put in excellent individual performances the weekend, notably the likes of CJ Stander, Simon Zebo and of course Nemani Nadolo, who absolutely ran riot against Northampton.
Here’s the French media’s Champions Cup Team of the Week.
