Classics.
Canterbury of New Zealand, the heritage rugby brand and official kit manufacturer for the British & Irish Lions, has released its new ‘The Classics’ range.
The collection features two colourways: Red Dahlia, a colour that Canterbury have made synonymous with this year’s Lions tour, and a Dark Sapphire option.
With the squad leaving for Australia in just over a month, The Classics range has been introduced to sit alongside the previously released, more casual Lions apparel ranges, including the understated Stealth range and the popular Heritage line.
The Classics range includes three pieces. First up, the short-sleeve polo offers a top where smart design meets a casual, all-day look. The long-sleeve option, available in both Red Dahlia and Dark Sapphire, is the perfect choice for all fans, whether they are travelling to Australia or supporting from home.
Each top is finished with a white collar, which alongside the iconic Lions crest, creates a vintage aesthetic.
Simon Rowe, SVP at Canterbury of New Zealand, commented:
“Our Classics range is a fantastic example of the dedication and care that Canterbury has put into this year’s British and Irish Lions collection. It offers something different to the popular Stealth and Heritage ranges we have already released. We wanted to offer fans a shirt that works for any occasion. It doesn’t matter if they are at home or on the tour down under, the collection looks great everywhere.”
