Bundee Aki will go before a disciplinary hearing in Wales today.
The Kiwi centre has been charged with misconduct for “his behaviour to and remarks directed toward referee Ian Davies during and immediately after” Connacht’s loss to Leinster on April 15.
A two-man Guinness PRO12 committee chaired by Robert Morris will review the incident and investigate whether the centre’s actions merit further action.
Aki received a warning for his behaviour from Davies in the 76th minute of the 37-24 loss and and had further dealings with the referee after full-time.
Connacht will be hoping Aki does not miss out on their final two games of the regular season as well as their play-off series for a Champions Cup spot.
