Brian O’Driscoll & Ronan O’Gara Trade Insults In Absolutely Brilliant Slagging Match

This is absolutely hilarious.

Off The Ball was on absolute fire tonight with Brian O’Driscoll, Keith Wood and Ronan O’Gara all in town for their Olympia show.

O’Gara ended up being late for the live show, due to Storm Dorris with Wood and O’Driscoll using the extra time while they waited for him to arrive- to rip the absolute piss out of the Racing 92 coach.

The former Munster and Ireland playmaker however, was clearly listening to the show on the way over and wasted no time when he arrived, letting the duo know exactly what he thought of them.

“Brian felt he was defending at 12 an awful lot. Drico the wheels were gone at that stage, that’s why you were in at 12. The only thing about Woody, there’s no one here over 60, no one remembers when you played so shut the f**k up,” he said.

BOD then fired back by bringing up Leinster’s famous victory over Munster in their Heineken Cup semi-final in Croke Park in 2009.

“The wheels might have been gone early but I still had enough in the tank in ’09 when you threw that intercept and I was able to slap it into third gear and coast in.”

O’Gara then let BOD know that both Ulster and Munster had Heineken Cup trophies in their cabinet long before Leinster did.

“Listen, it’s the same as the first man to go to Everest, no one ever remembers who followed. Just remember who got their first. It’s easy when the path is well worn,” he added.
“There was railing on both sides to help you get up. I know what your comeback is… you’ve three of them.”

O’Gara was then asked what his first impression of BOD was and his response was brilliant:

“He was really humble back then. A really nice guy… no dyed hair”

O’Driscoll was then asked the same question and had this response:

“He had these shoulder pads on  that you would see in the 80s.”

Absolutely brilliant craic! Quotes with thanks to The Independent.
