BBC have named their 2018 Team of the Year with help from the public, but have left one player out that we reckon should be a shoe-in based on the season he’s had.
Ireland’s James Ryan fails to make their selection despite arguably being the form lock in the world throughout 2018. But while Ryan failed to make the cut – a number of his Irish teammates did.
In the backs World Player of the Year Johnny Sexton, centre Garry Ringrose and prolific try-scorer Jacob Stockdale all make the cut. While in the forwards Cian Healy, Tadhg Furlong and Peter O’Mahony are all included.
Have a look below and see what you think of their selection.
