Bath have reportedly paid a large transfer fee to immediately replace Sam Burgess.
Mark Souster of The Sunday Times has reported that Bath have paid Edinburgh a ‘large transfer fee’ for the services of Scotland international, Dave Denton.
Although Denton has joined Bath, Souster Tweeted that he will not feature against Toulon this weekend.
The 6ft 5 in back row forward impressed for Scotland during the World Cup, and topped Bath’s shortlist of players to replace Sam Burgess, according to the Daily Mail.
Bath however were linked with a move for Toby Faletau, but Warren Gatland vetoed the number eights move away from the Dragons.
