Australia Legend Set To Come Out Of Retirement For The Brumbies

What a coup for the Brumbies this is.
Australian legend Stephen Larkham is set to come out of retirement next month to compete in the Brisbane tens. The legendary outhalf and current Brumbies coach will take part in the tournament that begins in early February.
Larkham will be joined by another Wallaby star from the past in the form of Andrew Walker. The duo both played for the Brumbies and Australia, with Larkham racking up over a century of caps for the Wallabies.
The former playmaker, who scored 135 points for his country, said he’s looking forward to putting his boots back on and playing in a competitive environment.
“I am looking forward to putting the boots back on in a competitive match environment and playing alongside Andrew at the Global Rugby Tens,” Larkham said.
“It’s great that Andrew is able to commit to represent the Brumbies in the tournament as he was a firm fan favourite during an incredible career at the club.”
Prior to becoming the club’s coach, Larkham played 116 games for the Brumbies, while Walker scored 246 points for the ACT-based franchise in 47 appearances.
