Pass of the season?
Scotland defeated England the first time in a decade on Saturday to finally reclaim the Calcutta Cup in an absolute thriller at Murrayfield.
Playmaker Finn Russell came into the game with a lot of critics. The Glasgow ten has been hugely criticised for his performances in recent weeks, with some people even calling for him to be dropped before the game.
Nothing sums up his game though, quite like this simply sumptuous pass to Huw Jones that set-up Scotland’s second-try.
Have a watch below. Absolutely incredible.
This glorious, swooping pass is Finn Russell in microcosm. The execution is sumptuous, to float the ball over Joseph, carrying just enough to arrow into Jones' grasp. But the courage to trust his skills – on his own 22, having been castigated all Six Nations – is more remarkable. pic.twitter.com/7E4qUHeZoS
