On the move.
Australian prop Angus Bell looks set to miss next season’s Super Rugby campaign and take up a sabbatical in his contract, according to The Roar.
Widely regarded as one of the best loosehead props on the planet, the 24-year-old reportedly has a sabbatical built into his contract, similar to the one activated by Jordie Barrett that allowed him to join Leinster this season.
The report states that Bell has already informed his teammates of his departure, with Irish province Ulster said to have secured his services for next season.
It wouldn’t be the first time Ulster went after a high-profile loosehead, having had former Springboks star Steven Kitshoff on their books last season.
What a coup this would be for the Irish province.
