Former England international Andy Goode recently came out of retirement to help solve Newcastle’s half-back injury crisis.
The 35-year-old fly-half, who scored 2,228 Premiership points during spells with Leicester, Saracens, Worcester and Wasps, signed a three-month deal at Kingston Park. Goode made his debut last weekend against a London Irish- the club he signed for before retiring from without playing a match.
Goode was unable to stop his new club from losing to his former club- if you can call them that, but his appearance made for some hilarious comments from the commentary team.
