Brilliant.
Andy Farrell appeared on the Late Late Show last night and finally revealed how he reacted to Hansen’s now infamous tattoo of him.
Hansen’s teammates dared him to get a tattoo of Andy Farrell should Ireland win a Six Nations Grand Slam back in 2023 and when they did – Hansen being Hanse, did exactly that.
But how did Farrell react to Hansen’s lovely caricature of him on the winger’s leg?
“There’s only one Mack Hansen and that shows his personality to a tee,” Farrell said.
“He’s the joker of the pack and the lads asked him if we won the Grand Slam would he do that and he said 100% yes. He didn’t need to be asked twice. He just did it.
“The funny part of that though is that when he got it done, a week or two later he sent me a picture on WhatsApp of it and I just let him stew for 24 hours.
“He was begging me the whole time ‘Please reply, do you not like it?’ Is it wrong? Blah blah blah.
“He was stuck with it for life anyway! I eventually put him out of his misery.”
Now that’s what we call a tribute to your coach 👌#latelate pic.twitter.com/WVgJJAQZD0
