Munster, Leinster and Connacht Champions Cup fixtures for December and January

Champions Cup.

Munster, Leinster and Connacht have played one round of the 2026/27 Champions Cup and have three to go. The next one is 11–13 December, once the November internationals are out of the way. Leinster: two at home, one long trip

Leinster lost the final to Bordeaux in May, so this pool is the first step back. They share Pool 1 with Glasgow, Pau, Sale, Leicester and Clermont. Each club plays four of the five, and Leinster skip Glasgow.

Sale visit next, a rematch of last season’s quarter-final. Pau follow, and that one is rare, because the two clubs have not met since 1996. Leicester away closes the pool. It is the longest trip of the three.

Munster: the holders are in the group

Pool 3 is a hard one. Bordeaux, the back-to-back champions, are in it with Stormers, Racing 92, Bristol and Gloucester. Munster went out at the group stage last season, so there is no room for a bad night.

They play Bristol away first, then Bordeaux away. Two road games in a row. That puts a lot on the last round, when Gloucester come to Thomond Park.

Connacht: Toulouse is the home game

Connacht are in Pool 2 with Toulouse, Saracens, La Rochelle, Exeter and the Lions. They play four of the five and skip the Lions. Saracens were the opener. Of the three games left, two are away, at Exeter and La Rochelle.

The home one is Toulouse, the Top 14 champions and six-time European winners. That is the night to get a ticket for.

Ulster are not in this schedule. They play in the Challenge Cup, in a pool with the Cheetahs, Perpignan, Dragons, Bayonne and Zebre.
