Italy have done it! The Azzurri finally have a Six Nations victory following a simply sensational finish to their clash with Wales at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff this afternoon.

The visiting side started the game well, and despite conceding a try in the first half, went in at the break leading 12-7. But Wales fought back and a try from Dewi Lake and an excellent solo effort from Josh Adams with 12 minutes on the clock looked to have spared the home side’s blushes.

Enter Ange Capuozzo.

The 22-year-old fullback impressed with two tries off the bench against Scotland last week but he saved the best for last with a stunning solo break to set up Padovani’s winning try.

With the try coming so late, a player of the match had already been named, with Wales’ Josh Adams getting the nod. But the Welsh winger knew Capuozzo deserved the medal much more than he did, and gifted it to the youngster after the final whistle in an incredible moment between the pair.
