England boss Eddie Jones could be set to call up Ireland U20s star Dan Kelly this summer following an excellent run of form for his club Leicester Tigers in the Premiership.

Kelly, who is still only 18, played three games for Ireland last year in their curtailed Six Nations campaign but turned down the opportunity to represent them this year because of club and college commitments.

The centre has played 16 times for Leicester this season and is highly rated by head coach Steve Borthwick, a former assistant of Jones with England.

Having been born in England, Kelly is eligible for England and will now have to make a huge decision with the IRFU also said to be keen to contract him to one of the four provinces.

The Daily Mail are reporting that Jones is expected to name a youthful squad for their fixtures against USA and Canada, with prop Bevan Rodd, hooker Alfie Barbeary, outhalf Marcus Smith and flanker Miles Reid all in line for debuts.

Jones is set to rest a host of senior players, including George Ford and Jonny May with a number of his senior players set to be away with the Lions too.
