Brilliant.
Disgraced former Wallabies fullback Israel Folau was ‘bombarded’ with Gay porn after he joined his latest club’s WhatsApp, according to one of his teammates.
Folau was sacked by Rugby Australia back in 2019 after refusing to remove a number of homophobic social media posts following lengthy discussions and a huge public backlash.
He brought his former employer to court and ended up with a multi-million dollar payout before joined Super League side, the Catalan Dragons.
But as soon as he joined the club’s WhatsApp group, teammate James Moloney couldn’t resist roasting the devout Christian over his views.
In an interview on SEN 1170, a sports station broadcasting in Sydney, league coach Andrew Webster told Matty Johns that Australian league player James Maloney, a teammate of Folau’s at Catalan, was quick to roast the former Wallaby when he joined the team’s WhatsApp group.
“When [Folau] first joined Catalans, he joined the players’ WhatsApp group,” Rugby League coach Andrew Webster told SEN1170 Radio in Australia.
“And Jimmy Maloney, God love him, couldn’t help himself and started bombarding him with gay pornography.”
Brilliant. We would have loved to have seen what Folau’s response was!
