This Sunday’s Autumn Nations Cup match between France and Fiji has been called off following to an outbreak of coronavirus in the Fijian squad.
French boss Fabien Galthie has released all of his players back to their Top 14 clubs for this weekend as a result.
Rugbyrama.fr and Midi Olympique reported on Friday morning that the match was in doubt with France delaying their team announcement which was supposed to be made at 12 pm.
A massive blow for Fiji who have finally been invited to participate in a major tournament outside of the Rugby World Cup. Whether or not the game will be rescheduled remains to be seen.
