Joe Marler, Courtney Lawes and Manu Tuilagi will all face disciplinary hearings following England’s win over Wales on Saturday.
Marler has been cited for an alleged infringement of Law 9.27 (A Player must not do anything that is against the spirit of good sportsmanship – Hair pulling or grabbing; Spitting at anyone; Grabbing, twisting or squeezing the genitals (and/or breasts in the case of female players.)
Lawes has been cited for an alleged infringement of Law 9.13 (A player must not tackle an opponent early, late or dangerously. Dangerous tackling includes but is not limited to tackling or attempting to tackle an opponent above the line of the shoulders even if the tackle starts below the line of the shoulders)
Tuilagi was red-carded during the England v Wales match last Saturday for an infringement of Law 9.16 (A player must not charge or knock down an opponent carrying the ball without attempting to grasp that player).
Disciplinary hearings will take place for all three on Thursday 12.03.2020 in Dublin.
