Ouch.
Things aren’t exactly going to plan so far for Ireland at Twickenham with England completing dominating them in the first half, leading 17-0 at the break.
Mistakes from Johnny Sexton and Jacob Stockdale led to respective tries from George Ford and Elliot Daly with Owen Farrell converting both scores and adding a penalty late on in the half.
It’s been a brutal encounter so far with England bullying them in almost every facet of the game akin to their beatdown at the Aviva Stadium in the opening round last year.
But there’s probably one man who’s feeling even worse than the Irish today in Twickenham with George Ford landing a kick square in the face of a poor spectator following his try. Some kick though.
Costly mistake from Johnny Sexton gifts England a try.
