Brawl.
France blew the 2020 Six Nations wide open this afternoon with a stunning 24-17 win over World Cup finalists England in Paris.
Les Blues came charging out of the blocks, racing into a 17-0 lead after twenty minutes with Vincent Rattez finishing an excellent try set-up by outhalf Romain Ntamack and Charles Ollivon going over after a mistake from Courtney Lawes.
Ollivon scored his second try 14 minutes into the second-half following a stunning break from scrumhalf Antoine Dupont that led to a mass brawl between the two sides.
Nigel Owens pulled both captains in to have a quiet word before England came thundering back into the game with two incredible solo efforts from Leicester Tigers winger Jonny May.

But it wasn’t enough. Owen Farrell scored a late penalty to earn England a losing bonus-point but it’s France who open up their 2020 Six Nations account with a massive win.
Going back to that mass brawl between the two teams, replays at the time didn’t show what caused the melee. It turns out replacement hooker Luke Cowan-Dickie landed a pretty needless elbow on Ollivon that clearly upset the French.
Check it out below. Pretty reckless stuff from the Exeter Chiefs man.
It was Cowan-Dickie falling on to Ollivon that caused that fracas. pic.twitter.com/CBZ6getP39
